I have finally joined the srwp revolution :)

and i bought the wrench for £80 inc vat & delivery from forest and arb (ISC ZK2 Rope Wrench) which is around £25 cheaper than both frjones and honeybros !

Well done Alex. Don't expect it to revolutionise your climbing straight away, there won't be a Eureka moment but if you're patient and persevere a couple of weeks you'll reap the rewards and love it.

Cheers OMTC, on the farm i've got some nice big oak and beech to practice on.

Looking forward to it. :)

BLIMEY! That was a bargain! :thumbup1: I feel robbed!

I found the 'eureka' moment was sorting out my rope walker / rope rocket system for my feet, that was my epiphany. Spend a little time getting everything set up and tuning your hitch / tether and you'll enjoy it. I thought it was a frustrating thing to get started on, kept coming across tweaks I wanted to make but it's 'almost perfect' now and I have really bonded with it, as others say, I can't see the point in using doubled rope now (although I will on Saturday to prune some fruit trees I'm sure.....)

Be interested to see what you set up for yourself :thumbup1:
