Rope Wrench feedback

Thats what i was thinking, might use some pluming plastic pipe too. We will sort a date, i'll try to have a ride over on the weekend to Earlham to see what the trees like.

 

Darnit!!! I was going to invite myself along,couldnt make your last climb but wanted a crack with you guys. Climbing kits in shipping now:thumbdown:

The word on the street is a couple of months. I personally havent heard anything.

 

I wouldnt buy it if i still had my Zk 1 that was more the issue i had with it now i no longer have the Zk 1theres no issue.

You mean you wouldnt need to buy it, as it serves the same purpose?? :laugh1:

 

I think Mistahbenn put up a rough release date, I like that the new ones design is more compact and the domed bolts are great as i found out today. :thumbup1:

Yeah i worte that at 6 am haha, would rather wait for the new version than buy another Zk 1 if i still had that zk 1 i doubt i would get the zk 2, i can tell its an improvement but i feel it could have been improved more imho(thats judging from photos alone)

Mine is a prototype, the real one ISC is making will have a sheave on an oilite bushing instead of the friction bolt and the metal may be thinner. But roughly the same just polished up as prototypes are normally made bigger as the tester is asked to give it some stick. Its destroyed a tachyon line and nearly a poison ivy, not the wrench but by testing out the heat created from the hitch etc. Longevity of ropes = heat tolerant line, or a LJ
