Cheers ben, sounds like a plan. Christened today adam and think i should get a new cam as it was slipping a bit but having gone from 12mm to 11mm then a worn cam could make a big difference. Rope self tends through the pantin really well though

Can't wait to get mine mate, what's it like to grip mate?

Yea would be cool to get Andrew out on a wrench too if he hasnt tried one yet! Is that the other colour of kernmaster Ben? If it is its great rope! Got a bit of stretch to it too. Im hoping to have a go with the wrench above my unicender soon. That could be fun!

its like cable bro. very quick to climb on but i wouldnt wanna fall on it, esp with toothed ascenders. ive got 80m of kernmaster for africa courtesy of Yale so ill let you know how it runs. i dont mind a bit of stretch on trees with anchors im unsure about ya know.

Watched the ART snake anchor vid & got to thinking, as a tip would a kong or other make daisy chain work in the same way?

Especially with some of these static lines some of you ascend on.

If not dose anyone install a type of load impact minimizing addition to their base tie or tip working tie off points, or is it a waste of time ect?

When you base anchor there's alot of rope in the system so if you fall there's all that rope to help absorb the force most truely static lines are so thin that climbing on them isn't easy so they aren't used for Srwp and tend to be used for access where you shouldn't be putting yourself in the position of a swing or fall. I use a snake anchor as its simple and easy to use.
