Hello all, I finally got a rope wrench 2 and Tommy b has made me a tether. I'm just playing about with it and was wondering if when the cord descends is the wrench supposed to sit like it is in photo 2?

It will always engage on decent mate having it sat like that whist in a work position could become a little dangerous if something was to hit it! I like to make sure my wrench is engaged most the time, but if I feel something could hit it and engage the hitch sending me into rapid decent then I'll make sure it's sat right :)

Shouldn't need to set it mate, if you can find away of stopping it from dropping onto the hitch or in a neutral position that would be cool!! Agree with Drew though the hitch is a little long for the tether or visa versa
