I love my 200t with 14" bar.... can't see why you'd want anything bigger/ more numb up in the tree such as a rear handle 200. You can take a hell of a lot down with the 200t then switch to the 660

I agree with that, we have a 250 at work and im not a fan of it. not as well made and not as powerful for its size. Never come across a 240 yet. But the back handle 20 is a great little saw, excellent in the tree with the only down size being I over use it trying to cut bigger stuff than it should and when you have to use a 660 you think the end of the world has come.

 

The 260 is a good saw for intermediate stuff in the tree. Once that can't cope I use a 044 with a 20" or 25" bar. I like to use the 'right' saw to keep the load down as much as possible. It didn't bother me years ago but now anything to make life easier is a must.

I use & abuse my husky 33xpt it's no where nere as bad as what people make it out to be!! i use it the most in the tree, for other stuff i use the 455 rancher on 18' mega saw, though i do also like my little 240 it's a grunty little bugger!!

When I started I did all my climbing with a 254 for the first 18 months. 200t is king in the tree though.

200t is the saw i like to use on most of the tree.

don't know why but back handled small saws genrate far more kickback when the tip's sunk.

the only option for me when the trunk's too big for the 200t is 440 or 660 and then it's step cuts stop em spinning off.

you could always get a 16" bar for your 200t and i'm sure you could get the engine ported and bored, i think you can even use corded rings on a magnesium engine.
