Very nice new rigging pulley

Following feedback from a number of shows and competitions a couple of significant modifications were made to the product:

ØThe locking screw has been changed to do away with the welded bar which has been replaced with a knurled-head screw which is easier to use. The knurled head screw now has a hole in it so that a screwdriver or similar can be put through it to allow more leverage in opening or locking the pulley. This feature will be available on both the steel and stainless steel versions.

ØTo reduce weight and make it look more desirable we have put ‘flame cut-outs’ into the side plates – these do not affect the strength (the ultimate breaking strength is still well in excess of 100kN/22,000lbs) but they do help to reduce the weight down to 1.43kg/3.15lbs. This feature will only be available on the polished stainless steel version.

The RP056A stainless steel version is being put into production now and should be available end-November

  • 1 year later...

Looked at this today at capel...very sexy pulley indeed, but i opted for an ISC one as the opening mechanism is simpler- no thread- and i think that it would be easier to use in cold wet conditions. At least i hope so or i have missed out there lol!
