I have the black and yellow weaver, and a treemotion. The weaver is an amazing harness, with an incredible amount of support, and is tough as nails. I found the petzl to be incredibly UNcomfortable, and felt too flimsy by far. I got about 10' into the tree and gave up on the petzl and put my weaver back on when i tried one.

The weaver is a man's harness, the petzl is for ballet dancers:blushing::lol:

As Stu said, two very different harnesses. Horses for courses and all that! Although the Weaver looks like it should be worn by a Shire horse.

Personally, I wouldn't get the weaver as they are terribly uncomfortable for me. If you are a big lad (a few of my mates are) they climb in the Kolibri /Skylotec harness.

Skylotec kolbri or a petzl sequioa in my opinion instead of asking others opinions (i believe this is your third thread on the matter of harnesses) it will make life alot easier for you to go out and try harnesses and try alot of them so you know for sure what one you want, dealers will be able to tell you what there other customers have thought of the harnesses also. :thumbup1:

I know I am really indecicive I end up buying things I dont want if I dont take loads of time :blushing: but I did just that Ewan I tried a couple on today I ended up buying a weaver! I think they are extremely comfortable and very well balanced it even inspired alot more confidence in the tree  I think its the fact that it just looks and feels alot more sturdy for me :)
