Afternoon!

I've had my truck for a while now and whilst its great for what I need I'm finding that having all my tools in the back is becoming a pain. I'm sure I saw someone on here whose removed the rear bench and made some shelves to fit in the back.

If anyone can help or suggest something it'd be much appreciated.

Ta

I'm going to do mine over Christmas. Rear seat is coming out and having a shelving system to store saws, rope bags, etc. out of sight.

Definitely putting up hooks/rope to hang the helmets off. Fed up of straightening up my visor!!

The rear door step is a good combi-can size so im going to build a sealed area, vented to the outside.

Oh, and build space for the dogs to go too!!

That's a shite solution.

You can't put your kit away at the end of a job with over a tonne of chip in the back.

I've put a pic of my D/C plywood rack up before, I'll take another one. It sits on top of the rear seats, and can be taken out in minutes for those lucrative 6-person taxi moments!

Wasn't aimed at your post Jonny, you snuck your solution in while I was commenting on Centrals.

Through box impossible to access with my ali sides which are bolted to the dropsides.

There is acres of space above the seats in the rear of a D/C. Why not use it?

Also doesn't screw the truck for resale to other trades.

And a throughbox would limit my chip capacity to 3.75T instead of 4....:sneaky2:
