Any more progress?

Well I painted it but work has been so busy that it's been on the back burner a bit. Sort of lost momentum but it'll get done.

I am off to the uk in a minute to collect a hydraulic thumb for the mini-digger.

They are on ebay now Le-Criquet

Still no pictures or video of one at work yet though from what I can see, which I would have thought if they were trying to sell them would be the least they would do to help sales.

Is that because of speed or turf damage?

Both...I was running over the greens and leaving no damage and turning is no problem either, no need to place boards down. I think we spent a full week on the job running the same route and the green keeper said that 7 days later there was no sign at all we had been there, even on the spot where we were working and with hydrostatic drive the speed was variable between creep and about 15mph

What will they lift Dean?? I was on a job last week and we ringed up a pop butt that was easy 5ft diameter and the lads said they would get their avant in to load it all onto vehicles. I asked if it would handle the rings and they reckoned so! They must be strong little machines!!!

They will all lift way over what they are designed to lift which is around half a ton. The limiting factor is them picking up the back wheels or nosing over if they are tracked.

Mine has rear counterweights and the huge wheels are also full of water, although highly irresponsible :001_rolleyes: mine will now pick up a whole medium sized tree after snedding and still just about keep the wheels on the deck.

A five ft diameter lump weighing around a ton would be no problem for mine

My little S20 can manage 500kg with a 50kg lump on the rear linkage. Though not when pointed downhill, I suspect....
