Forgive me if this is a daft question. Having passed cs30/31 is there any requirement for training in use of longer length bar chainsaw? Is there a cs unit that covers this? Do insurance require for liability purposes etc?

what does it say on your certificate?

I don't have one, yet. I was led to believe that 30/31 only covered the use of bars upto 15"? I'm looking to do courses due to employment possibilities and future opportunities. So what does it say on the certificate?

It says something like you can fell a small tree up to 15 inch but doesn't say what size bar it has to be with. It's just for the course you use a 15 inch bar

Understood. Thanks for the advice. I understand that any size saw is dangerous and correct operational procedures apply to large and small but do the courses not offer any advice/safety guidance for future use of larger equipment and the greater risks involved???

Yes there's a ticket for felling larger than 15 inch trees. Which again you only do with a 15 inch bar.
