Forgive me if this is a daft question. Having passed cs30/31 is there any requirement for training in use of longer length bar chainsaw? Is there a cs unit that covers this? Do insurance require for liability purposes etc?

what does it say on your certificate?

It says something like you can fell a small tree up to 15 inch but doesn't say what size bar it has to be with. It's just for the course you use a 15 inch bar

Understood. Thanks for the advice. I understand that any size saw is dangerous and correct operational procedures apply to large and small but do the courses not offer any advice/safety guidance for future use of larger equipment and the greater risks involved???

Yes there's a ticket for felling larger than 15 inch trees. Which again you only do with a 15 inch bar.
