May I make an addition Tommer?

Spell Check | Online Spellchecker

Now nobody has an excuse!

Ha ha. Fair play, but pointless. There is already a spell checker in both the quick and advanced reply sections, but these appear to be rarely, if ever used! It would appear the ignorant are blissfully prepared to remain so.

It seems to be a sad and tragic irony that as our technology gets smarter, future generations appear destined to become dumber.

If you run a browser such as Google Chrome, there is a built in spell check anyway. As a member of a number of forums with an international membership, it's somewhat embarrassing that often those for whom English isn't a first language speak/write it better than us natives!

If folk are going to make the effort to post in a foreign language, the least we can do is make an effort with our mother tongue.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
