Knocking Over A Tall One

This was one of my jobs that i did back in july before i came up north to college.

Was an awesome job, was there for about 4 days, clearing a fair few decent size conifers, some had to be dismanteled others straight fell into the field. Stuff that was dismantelled was all split into firewood for the owner and the ones that went into the field were dragged out with my landy and stacked by hand (cant hooks) all along the hedge as close as possible, there were some big lumps to move! I went back with my cousins forwarder at a later date and all the bigger stuff back that hes not going to use for firewood. All brash piled up in two big fires to be burnt. Wish i had taken more pics really, only got some of the last big tree to do.

Was abit dodgey this big un was just under 90ft tall, right next to that garage, leaning back ever so slightly, i climbed up knocked most of the branches off the back and put the landy winch rope up there to be on the safe side.

Fell it with my sachs dolmar 166 and 25" bar, hell that thing rips! Went over a treat! Didnt even need a pull.

You can watch a video of it going over here Liam Jordan's videos | Facebook
