bit of a echo in here!!!

my dad has an old echo brush cutter, weve had it 17 years lol its never been serviced really, i put a new spark plug in it n thats about it, fair enuf its not used daily but it has had alot of work and its still going strong

I have one working 200t, one under repair and two dead ones.

I dont think they are great but have never tried anything else.

Any feedback welcome. Not that expensive for the work they do but repair costs make it almost a throw away item when they get old and start playing up.

Used to use Dick Leigh who I could rely on but live too far away now!

But of course you can, just save for a bit. Why waste time buying non professional gear? Life's too short to waste time buying cheap gear.

 

Deffo..I've brought some of the cheaper top handles over the years to use as second saws or for light pruning etc. Not woth it they dont last the abuse they get on a daily basis... 200T's all the way!!

i use one on a regular basis but only for thinning/pruning work, anything of any substance ie oak... has to have a more powerfull saw.

Make do with a bow saw,save and buy a 200t.

My mate uses one, nice and light , timing goes a bit funny on it and he struggles to get spare parts for it.

Which exact saw was it since there are 4! CS-260, CS-3000, CS-320 or CS-350???
