....and put your rope in a pillow case, stops it getting tangled up around the drum in the machine. And yes, I speak from experience! I agree, nowt worse than a job site covered in dog scat.....mind you, racoon and coyote scat is just as bad, and ain't no-one gonna clean that up for ya before you start!

I think the point of dean being right to walk or not, boils down to one thing; the state of the site when priced.

When pricing the job you would never have guessed there was a dog, it was absolutely spotless, so it came as quite a shock to see "so much" crap.

...and I mean it was of a density of at least two do do's per square metre, infact I'd go as far as to say there was a bit of do do over crowding going on.

I've also refused a few jobs because of the dog crap, never got a phone call back saying they had cleaned it up so I wonder what unfortunate gits did the job :stupid:

The S***holes I've seen are unbelievable sometimes, Deffo some mental problems with some people, and they have there kids playing out in it!

I had a job to do today in which I told the client I would be turning up at 8.15am dead and would they make sure the drive was clear so I could reverse straight in when I turned up because it was a busy main road.

So the client knew exactly when I was come and fair enough, the drive was clear. Backed the chipper in and opened the gate to the passage leading round the back.

There was dog crap all over the place, all down the passage and all over the flagged area at the back where we would be working.

I just turned round, put all the kit back on the truck and told them I wouldn't be doing the job.

If they wanted me to come back they would have to get the crap cleared up and wait a month until the next clear 3/4 day slot.

Not very happy bunnies but I'm sick of people taking the mick

I´ve done the sanme thing many a time, no way i´m clearing up other peoples cr#p

Sounds as if they changed their minds about the work. They just didn't know how to tell you. Probably spent the last few days collecting all the dog poo from their nieghbours, spread it out just before you turned up in hope you would be shocked and drive of!!!
