IMO its poor form ever letting your helmet get that smelly in the first place. Like anything else its best to prevent rather than cure, so wash daily with warm soapy water. You never know when someone might take an interest in your helmet and perhaps want to borrow it, or even just want to try it for size for 2 or 3 minutes. That could be embarrassing if it really hummed :thumbdown: be prepared

 

so im guessing what your saying is to always play safe :sneaky2: god knows what infections you could get from someone elts helmet :blushing:

Really? I had one petzl for over 3 years and never washed it at all. Never been a problem. I bet you lot all use bloody hand creme aswell..?

 

BTW It has raised a smile with the humor.

I pretty disappointed that so many of you know how to use the dishwasher:thumbdown:

 

We have lived here for 8 years and I can honestly say I have never turned ours on :biggrin:

i was told either i worked out how to use the dishwasher or i would be shown in detail how to use the washing machine !!! Dishwasher winns hands down :laugh1:
