It already does lol.

Actually it doesnt, as it has anti roll bar, rear helpers, uprated rear springs and the fattest Terra Firma shock you can get. I know what you mean though However i have had nigh on all my kit for a day in the roofrack and it doesnt seem to affect the handling that much, esp with the chip box full and the chipper up behind.

do it, nothing to complex so long as u obviosuly are really meticulous about ensuring its square where u come to welding it back together so it doesn't crab or wear tyre's uneven. I shrank a 110 to a 90 for a chap, personally i couldn't see the point but he was paying so he got what he wanted!

Not worried about turning circle. I used to drive a 130 all the time and work with a guy who has one, and TBH there isnt enough difference for me to be bothered :)

Like the idea, but you will be able to overload your stretcehed motor, bearing in mind your 110 vin plate will be stamped with 3050 as your max kerb weight, whereas 130 are more.

Do your friends not normaly reduce wheelbases for offroading?

They do all sorts- they just like making weird and wonderful vehicles........they're from north devon lol!

As far as overloading is concerned......normally if there is alot of chip i do this:

I have a stretched 110 make it is easiest to stretch 3.5 tonne spec vehicles but not difficult to up rate a 3050 tonne the plates to stretch the chassis are avaialble on the internet. All it needs is time and attention to detail to ensure the two halves line up. then replace the prop shaft fuel and brake lines the wiring loom was spliced. Unless you get underneath it is not possible to tell that it has been stretched my insurance was cheaper as it has less seats. Mine was inspected by vosa as i declared the chassis length change and by nfu engineer for insurance
