iveco 35c11 tipper reservior level problems

hi,

i wondered if any one could help me, i am not 2 sure how much oil to put in the tipper reservior, i had a look in and cant seem 2 see any oil? if any one has any maintenance tips with the tipping system that would all help, i cant seem to find anything on the intenet.

If it goes all the way up there is enough oil in it, whatever you do don’t fill the reservoir with the tipper up, it will likely overflow when you send the body down.

 

Is there a sight glass or a clear tank?

 

If you need to top it up slow and steady is the way and don’t forget to leave a little expansion room in the tank

Its direct acting ram. maybe it is due to being over loaded. i am not really sure how much it is supposed to tip. but is does fully extend fine.

 

look under the pump you should see a large alloy nut ,this covers a screw ,start tipping then turn the screw think its anti c/w ? till it tips with out struggling it wont take much of a turn ,they are pre set to tip the trucks legal pay load :001_tongue:
