On a serious note though are those pulley savers he's made spliced or stitched?...

 

Either way its Marlow dynamic rope he's used?.....

 

Don't think I would recommend buying one!

If its the rings that Ewan is refering to, there was a batch a few years ago that weren't marked correctly and failed, causing a product recall. A lot of people swore off that brand after that incident.

i bought one. the eye is stitched (i think, its shrink wrapped) and the pulley prusik is spliced as well as the retrieval clip. works really well and the workmanship looks excellent.

 

Why did he get banned in the first place???????:confused1:

I think he was banned for recommending a Lidl Washing line pulley for rigging instead of a DMM or ISC block.

 

I thought it was Aldi and life support....?
