Was it a multi purpose kit ? I got one recently which covered various carbs and you had to study the metering diaphragms very carefully to pick the right one.

Or the diaphragms and gaskets the wrong way around.

Was it just the gaskets you replaced or the full kit with the needle and meter arm ect?

Not a bad call on the main metering diaphragm, the pump one jsut stops the saw running but does let it fire every now and then - almost killed myself in the earlydays on an old Jonnie that had this:blushing::lol:

LOL flooded a big homelite once and in my infinite wisdom wasn't 100% sure so took the plug out earthed it and gave it a pull. Fuel shot out the plug hole and got ignited 12" from my nose as im looking for a spark... Needless to say for that instantaneous second my heart was in my mouth and stomach contents almost shot down my leg...

Never had that happen:blushing::lol: the missing hairs on my arm were a skin conditon.......until they grew back:lol:

Hi all and thanks for answers! It was maybe a multipurpose kit because it has many differemt gaskets. Gaskets are correct way in. It idles Perfect and starts but 4 strokes alot. If it is runking like 10min then it would rew up for second or two. I have to push saw in wood if i want to clear sound of it.

Those L and H screws are bit twisted (i dont know correct word) you know they are like banana :)

Compression is 165 cold throtle open.

Do you probuilders etc. Know that can i bought those screws separately?

Many thanks allready.

Edit: how i can check correct level on the "lever"

The metering lever needs to be level with the carb body or 0.3mm below. You had better check the needle valve is sealing 100%.

The wear would probably happen on the soft carb body rather than tbe adjustment needle screws.
