Cheers mate. It's only one that was laying around at St L's. I thought I would see if I could sort it out as a spare for Ian to practise on. Btw, shame you couldn't make it yesterday. I think you might grow to like the 'drome. :001_smile:

If it's a regular thing I might be able to spare a bit of time, sounds fascinating mate.:001_smile:

They are happy for you to bring your metal detector and could do with picking your brains about an Allen Scythe that will only turn one way. :001_smile:

Apologies for jumping in, but I think I might know the answer on the Allen Scythe, what with Geoff's Dad's one now ensuring me an old age of lower back pain. Have you looked on the wheels - there is a pawl which can be flipped to allow it to turn one way, the other way or neither way (except by sheer brute force). If it helps I can take photos of what I'm on about.

I am familiar with this pawl, so I can show you if you like.

I like the idea of a metal detector over there mate, could provide them with some interesting stuff for the displays.:001_smile:

Sorry to stay off topic, Spud. Geoff, when you drop the chip off, mention the Scythe then. I think one of the guys who did the work on it is also called Geoff. :thumbup1:

He got it off Geoff.

I had to insist he signed a waiver so there were no come backs from personal injury or back problems in the future, these things were designed for small people.:laugh1:
