It depends on the squish it already has, you need at least 0.5mm otherwise due wear and tear may result in the piston belting the squish band.

 

The sealer needs to withstand 200 degrees plus. Blue Hylomar is fine as are many others, just look at the spec.

It will be used on 2OOT and should just make life a tiny bit simpler. The parts arrive tomorrow so I will try it and post pics.

So, based on common faults of the 200t, it's either for the pump piston, the stupid little black limiters or something for the oil pump

It will hopefully just ease the chain brake spring over the little peg. I will let you know tomorrow if it works.

 

I currently use a small screwdriver but it is always slipping. This should just take a second to do.

Can't say I have needed anything like that in my dealings with the saw.

 

Possibly for pulling the clutch springs off, can't see it would help with the limit cap on the H screw which is always a sod. Pushing off the filler cap connectors possibly:confused1:

 

It looks like a carving chisel!

I have used string, it works well. But a screwdriver is quicker when it does not slip off the peg. This should be the answer.

 

And I do like my special tools. Even drilled another hole in the bench so I can store it with all the others.

Not major saw maintenance, but I found this shocking:

 

Cutting rings of a cony stump with the 460 the other day. On coming through the cut the chain flipped off the bar (likely due to the ring pinching it as the cut closed). The chain catcher did it's job BUT was ripped almost clean in half in the process.

 

Anyone else had a chain catcher shear from stopping a chain?
