You can see the two marks still on the cylinder, they are smooth now though, I am surprised the piston didn't gouge out more of a mess.

 

Looks good to me - do you reckon those light marks are where the plating has come off or where there is some transfer left?

 

If you can't feel it with your fingertip then it should be OK.

 

The MS660 I just did looked worse and is now making 150PSI on a new piston after running it up and taching!

Heres what we have been up to today, re tuned Martins ported 357XP, took another one for his father - think they want to race:thumbup: and a 372XP...ported of course and were playing with yet another ported machine - my 346XP......
