I thought all 064s had aluminium flywheels that were slightly less deep than the 066 ones - not disputing you Wes but thinking out loud - if anyone wants the relevant PDF about the flywheel/coil compatibility on 064/066 then PM me - it makes fascinating reading....anyone want to know about dual key flywheels!:001_rolleyes::lol:

You may be right - I may be confusing them with the 046's that came with polys.

Not much today. Docs this morn.

And just a haze of an afternoon turning a freelander from a 4x4 into a front wheel drive.

Box had gone so removed the drive shaft and blanked off the gearbox end. Now all good.

You mean to say it was the box and not the coupling?

Blimey that's a first its nearly always the coupling. Think there must be as many 2wd versions as 4wd driving around now

I know. Strange huh. The y must have been made in a cheese factory.:lol:

By god did it make some noise. Sounded like a b52 going up to the workshop.:lol::lol:

My first thought was wheels and brakes. But then I got it over the pit and got it in the air, then turned the drive shaft and it went clunk clunk clunk click.

It was a nice easy job really. Just had to blank off the box. So made a plate up and sealed it all up. Still be more fuel Eco now I guess :lol:

Just joins the many hundreds of freelanders that are now front wheel drive only.

I have been on the flight deck of a B52, cramped as hell and to get up in to the driving seat, you have to step up on a dam big compass that is used by the navigator.

I've got a husky 560xp and I was cleaning her out yesterday and discovered that the oil flow adjuster on the bottom of the saw was rattling around. Any suggestions in how to get it fixed? I thought it was threaded but it's not, thanks

Not done this saw but bost are accessed by removing the clutch drum and clutch then removing - need to look at it once off - most are pinned and have 1/4 - 1/2 turn adjustment but not sure about this one.

Try this for help - http://www.orgtehprom.ru/files/images/PARTMINER/560.pdf

Reckon Pin "17" has come out as it looks like the retaining pin.

Ok after sorting out the work shop, so that i can start to use it for what its meant for (ie repairing and servicing my tools.

ive had my MS260 on the bench , none starter it had good spark and would try to start if i poured abit of petrol down the spark plug hole

so took out the impulse line had a good look but it looked ok

so move onto walbro carb to check the metering arm was set right (couldnt find the number WTE on my metering lever tool but did find WTA so set to that one

so with fingers crossed put it back together.

a few pulls and OMG it started and run fantastic:thumbup::thumbup:

i did noticed the breather leaking so will order a few up:biggrin:

i know to you tech guys that this is very easy:sneaky2:

but im over the moon , really enjoyed my time in the work shop:thumbup:

on a different note ,one other thing, i think i need my eyes checked :001_huh:

really found it hard to see the markings on the carb( ive got some pound shop glasses that i had to use:001_rolleyes:

Anyway the main reason ive posted this is to say a big thank you to all you tech guys for being so open and sharing you extensive knowledge:biggrin:and for often answering my daft questons

ive been on arbtalk a while now and have read enjoyed learning a few things about fixing
