I just weighed my twisted steel spikes with velco straps and they came in at 1565g each. That is an extra 470g per leg I am having to carry about! O-la-la! Since my boots weigh about 1kg each I don't think I would notice the difference.

So who actually makes them...Climb Right (aka Spider manufacturing) or Stein?

They are IDENTICAL!

 

 

I think they are re-branded Stein for the UK market, come out at a good price to thanks to Steins buying power.

 

We see a lot of it over here

Stihl sell Ochsenkopf axes branded as Stihl, and Elten boots branded as Stihl

Husky are selling the new Petzl helmet as Husky

 

Wait till next year you might see some Jonesie products soon.:sneaky2::001_smile:

What's makes them stand out from the rest of the Spikes out there apart from them being blue?

 

And sorry to say the last few stein items i've had have gone back to the dealer very poor quality

 

mmm blue they will match all my colour co-ordinated kit might get sum
