Interesting...but is this clip aimed at stiring up the sometimes quite gullable americans...some of whom do currently believe that the economic situ may lead to a collapse of all known values and that anarchy might actually happen (i.e. no authority...looting, chaos). What is doesn't ask is what are the stats for gun crime stateside...are there more armed robberies in the states where guns are more common. i.e. if we legally took up arms here for protection or self defense...would gun crime escalate too? Heavy for a Sat night!

Very selective editing. I've never felt teh need to own a gun to defend myself. look what is currently happening in Finland, they are talking about more restrictions of gun ownership.

I don't know all teh ins and outs, all the facts, the pros and cons of owning a gun. I've never felt the need to own one, I've got mates that do.

I don't believe that gun ownership makes for a safer society.

I don't believe that gun ownership makes for a safer society.

But illegal gun ownership makes for an unsafe society.

In Switzerland every adult male is legally required to own an handgun, yet guncrime is virtually zero.

It's also a myth that gun crime is rife in the us because there are so many guns, gun crime should be reported by ratio of population ie per million not by country.

Also gun legally held gun crime in britian is virtually non existent

Thats not strictly true Dean, every man has an assault rifle in his home  they are all in the swiss army as part of their national service and have to periodicaly attend training. I does work pretty well except that occasionaly some one goes nuts, and of course there's nothing quite like a nutter with an M16.
