i'm felling a holly tomorrow and by all folklore accounts this is very unlucky, sure i have felled one in past but now conscious of it and concerned! any one had any ill effects?!

Just pat your head and rub your tummy similtaneously whilst turning round 15 times shouting "I love Hollies" just before you fell.

 

That should ward off any evil spirits, plus the client will pay up the second you finish the job.

makes good wood for turning aswell. but I have heard a few horrific stories about stuff that has happened to people after they cut their 2nd Holly. Strange accidents exactly a week after and even wierder dissapearances hahahahaha, never heard such twaddle, it's YEW's that come with 30 years bad luck.
