Playing (training) with an Alstor

I'm starting to train on the Alstor 8x8 forwarder with the woods we've thinned. It's great fun and very productive (though not with me at the helm as I can only manage 3 tonne an hour at the moment!).

it is tiny but you are also huge so the scale looks funny:laugh1:

Haven't seen one in the flesh yet, but look pretty handy. One negative ive noticed is

the lack of dual joystick controls for the slew/boom/dipper/grab. Individual controls must really take some getting used to for fluid movements and efficiency.

 

Wouldn't say no to a day of that though, nice woods your working in as well J.
