Hi I am looking for a new harness I use a skyletec at the moment but was disappointed by it, I felt it wasn't very robust and the bridge and other straps loosen up during the day can anyone recommend something robust and simple?

I too used to use the Skylotec harness and hed exactly the same problems , there was meant to be a new version coming out some in late 2009 but it didnt , again in 2010 it was meant to be released but it didnt and this year at the AA arb show i was told that it will not be brought out which is a shame as it was goignt to be a much much better harness . Anyway cutting a long story short i have now got a Tree Motion and highly reccomend it , it first i didnt think i was going to find another harness that was as comfortable my skylotec but i have and not would not go back . Yes it may be more expensive but well well worth it .

And i must say thanks to justin at F.R Jones for his help and advice . top notch

Excellent thanks I was tempted by a weaver I know there old fashion but they look pritty solid I was put off by the tree motion because of its price but I know a lot of people who own it and have never heard a bad review they seem to be the harness to get.

I was prety unsure about geting one , especially at 6ft2 and weighing 17.5 stone , i thought that it would not have the suppore and comfort of my skylotec but after adjusting it and constant tweeking for the first couple months i can now honestly say that i will not be using anything elts .

If you can afford to chip out for a tree motion they are worth it I think, They take a while to get used to and set up right but once you do its great, I love mine and its worth the money I spent on it

as above, treemagic 2. works, is simple, and lots of options for gear attachment.
