If it's the full-body harness that you're talking about, there's usually several of them on ebay.

You might also consider an extra small conventional climbing harness - the suspension point allows more movement but at a greater risk of 'up ending'.

Petzl do a full body harness for kids. I have one for my 4 year old (label says age 4-12) and they are really good. I looked on ebay for a while and they were doing about £25-30 by the time you include delivery. I searched for the name (which escapes me at the minute) and got one for £37.00 delivered brand new. I wouldn't buy second hand PPE for myself so don't see why I should for the kids.

I'm looking at getting a child's harness for a 4 year old. The petzl on looks good. What's the best way to set a child up in the tree? What system do people use?
