I have two log burners, the smaller one is being used at the moment just to keep the chill off the house in the evening, the bigger one gets lit end of Sept, and then i give in to her indoors and let her have central heating on, in moderation obviously.

You lot living in the Arctic?

Down here it's warm enough to still need a cooling fan going in the bedroom, just so we can get to sleep.

Can't imagine having to put heat into the house until mid October ish.

hi guys come on log burners on in august ? wimps you should all move to costa del wirral .we put ours on from bonfire night to say end april come on get a grip . :001_tt2:

Try living in Aberdeenshire woodburner and rayburn lit tonight, too tight to light the oil boiler, mind you got the mother visiting soo old

I'm not too far from Bolton Salix and I've been looking at fires today for my parents. We went to a place in Ramsbottom where I got mine from. What sort of size are you looking for in terms of kw?
