Filled up one jerry can at tesco before they shut the pump off and called over the tannoy that there is a ban on filling up petrol cans. We paid for the 20 litres of petrol then went to a smaller garage in the town with no ban.

I stopped at a shell garage in Ottershaw today to fill the landy up (again!) and ask the cashier if I had wanted to fill up a can would they let me, and they said yes!

Had to do a stump grind this afternoon and the grinder was empty so stopped at a shell garage at Burnt Common, Send and filled up 10ltr jerry and two 5ltr cans and then jumped into the back of the landy and filled the grinder up - no problem at all and all in full view of the cashier:thumbup:

I'm in Glenrothes and my wife has just filled her car up at the local BP station. She says that you can fill up a can between 7am and 7pm! Obviously the wee neds are sleeping during the day after a hard night's looting.
