i even saw a large bunch of lads, all in hoodies in my own town earlier, they went running across the road and started writing something on some building site wooden fencing. Nothing major, but they looked like they were up to no good all the same....not sure this is going to be limited to cities aymore

its pathetic. what is the point, just a load of mindless idiots jumping on the band wagon, who i bet do not work that are causing £1000's worth of damage that all of us will be paying for. if the police did go in heavy handed, good old human rights would be in favour of these thugs. Shame they dont get the army in, with live rounds! they wouldnt come back following night. but then, just send the royal marines in with the S.A.S would soon solve the problem, but as im not prime minister shame that wont happen. They have brought shame to our country and to the british people with our reputation.

How's it looking by you rich? You all ok?

All fine here at the moment. Most shops without shutters have had their window bricked in. No petrol stations open, all smashed up.

A mate of mine decided to get his sister from woolwich last night and as he drove down the road cars were pulling over, people getting out, scarfs or tshirts on their heads and trotting on over to Curries and PC world and coming back with lcd tv and all manner of consumer electrics.

I really cannot get how 'kin thick these people are as they're parking the motors on a red route, covered by cctv. I am assuming the vehicles are registered to them though!:thumbdown:

Did you see that poor soul on the news, beaten and dazed, then robbed on camera. Makes you really want to do something. I really hope the police the CPS, the courts all deal with this with the full extent of their powers. Not enough room in prison, tough, cram them in there as tight as necessary to clear the streets. Disenfranchised? not my description. Sympathy? why? I bet these thugs are laughing at all the hand-wringers making excuses for their behaviour.

This is going to cost us all dear. Socially and economically. The bill for the police, the insurance premium hikes, and respect lost from other countries. We have become a laughing stock, a sick joke, we need a strong leadership from our government, a strong signal sent out from our law enforcement agencies, and strong local leadership from community groups, and above all parents.

Oh and anyone wearing a hood, a mask, balaclava, anything to disguise them should be removed instantly from the streets, with reasonable and appropriate force of course. It should be assumed that because they dont wish to be identified then they are involved in a criminal act.
