Evening all just thought i'd share my good news with everyone, just got in from work & saw the dreaded letter waiting for me. Had a beer & a ciggie first then opened it. I passed the written exams & i've been invited to Arley Arboretum in October to carry out the Management Day exerices so i am well chuffed to bits. WooHoooo!

Thanks everyone, it's been tough so far but i'm sure all the hard work will pay off in the end. Rick be prepared to let it take over your life 24/7, I found that i really had to put in a lot of revision. I got up at 5am every day & did an hour before work, an hour at lunch time & 2-3 hrs at night. Oh & all day sunday. I also got in touch with an AA aproved consultant & shadowed him & still do which has helped me out so much. I've spent hundreds on books but you should be able to get most of them from the college library. Also tons of info on the internet. But it is the best thing i ever did, i've made some great freinds & contacts that will last a lifetime (Pommie the best one). It's opened up a whole new world of Arboriculture for me & i've thorougly enjoyed every moment so far. So to anyone thinking of doing it, go for it.
