I did! Out of interest and at 20 quid it was worth a look see. Resurrected a chain that had caught a stone and its cutting fine.

 

It's not perfect, but then neither is my file sharpening technique. It has a 3 year guarantee too.

 

I'll stick to hand filing my "good chains" and use the machine on the stone and wire damaged ones.

I bought a couple the second just to get a spare stone. Excellent piece of kit and looks like it may even be made in germany by the labels. If you find a fast chain sharpener you can put your chain in the bin cos you will never touch it again with a hand file. They had 20 in stock and by 8.30am they were all gone.

I got one (and one for a mate) work great, sharpened 2 chains and really does the trick! Go get one if there's any left.

 

Sharpened a chain (72 links) in less than 5 mins that was really blunt - like new now.
