seem to have got blaze sorted i think done 3 compled ones and a few that got abandoned

am struggling with the cross over bury on some XTC + but to be honest my hands are too sore

tried to destroy blaze splices and a few others and every splice held good snapped on the rope or knot

You could definately make an eye eye for a vt, with a HC the sling can have quite stiff legs.....

 

The bury is tapered to about 6 inches i suppose.

 

However I'm not confident enough in my measurements to make a short eye eye in DB and end up with the right amount of cover.

peter, what construction is the silver streak?

 

i've made quite a few saw srops out of double braid, a carabiner sized eye one end and a tight one the other end.

 

not been splicng much recently... but i have a back log of split tails i need.
