Bored as usual on a sunday afternoon, bad weather and all. So as well as making a pie (god help us all) I was thinking if I have any inspirational people, turns out I do, even if I thought I didn't.

Anyone who can get up everyday, and no matter what they have to deal with and how much crap life has thrown at them, can remain positive and thankfull for what they do have, rather than what they don't.

All the hardworking people, whether here or abroad, who have little to give but share it willingly. The foresters I met in Romania who shared their drink; the mountain farmer in Northern Spain who was struggling to load his donkey who gave me one of his cheeses.

First and foremost, my dad. He will always inspire me to be a better person.

Second, the man. Sir David Attenborough. I wish I had just a fraction of his passion and knowledge.

Third, and off at a bit of tangent here, those who have laid their lives on the line in combat etc so that I can live mine in peace. They inspire me to make good of the time I have as so many of those had so little time.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
