Ordered a 346XP from Jonesie this morning after pleading with the wife.

I couldn't take the slagging off of my MS290 any longer. To be honest I bought the Stihl from a local dealer at too high a price before i found Arbtalk, and before my CS30/31 course where the standard saw was the 346.

Has anyone else came across reliability issues with the huskys then?

nope not had any problems , i run lots of husky's and other then a problem with the husky57 carbs i can not complain - and husky replaced the carbs free of charge , unlikt stihl that expect you to buy the carbs to fix an ms200. As long as the new husky climbing saw is as good as the ms200 i will not be buying another stihl
