tpo's work application - Deleted from system??

I have put in planning for the lads to work on a very mature copper beech, we understood from initial telephone calls with council and owner it had a tpo on it, i submitted the necessary forms and the homeowner, not us as agents received an email today saying ;

 

lifted from home owners email

"

Further to the submission of the above application I would advise you that it has been deleted from our system. Consent is not required for the works to the tree as it is not covered by a Tree Preservation Order and is not within a Conservation Area."

What does deleted from our system mean?, it had a tpo and theyve decided to take it off? I've never come across this before, the lads are still out, so i thought i'd ask the question to see what you guys think and why we as agents havent heard a dickie bird from council?

 

obviously i will give them a ring tomorrow for my self , but anyone come across this before?

 

oh and its on an english heritage listed monument area, if this has any bearing as well

It could mean that a chainsaw wielding neighbour has been round and the tree isnt there anymore

 

 

whilst its in the scheduled ancient monument, this only effects underground work such as footings for buildings, no metal detecting etc on this site. Its a shame as the council did have the tpo's on their online mapping system but they seem to have removed that layer now so you have to contact them.

 

I assume the big sycamore that is maintained by G&T as part of English Heritages part of the site is a TPO as its had cable bracing etc installed when really its damaging the SAM.

was still their this morning, so unless said neighbour winched it over with the landrover this afternoon im guessing its still in situ:001_tt2:

 

any how, dont know whats happening as owner now back peddling over if can spend on said tree:sneaky2: will be putting in a bill for application and sawing up of failed limb. - thats if the limb is still there in the morning and hasnt sneakily moved across the road to the logstore there

The tree was not TPO'd so they have deleted the "application" as its not needed, thats how it reads to me.

Hell no, it’s asleep, poking it with a stick is a bad idea.

 

You have a communication informing you that consent is not required and you are entitled to place reliance on such an unambiguous document, fell the tree bill the client and make firewood.

It is with regard to planning by virtue of the 2008 Planning act which introduced the 1APP form. The legislation explicitly refers to the acceptability of electronic communication.
