yes, but you'll have to send it away. You'll probably not even notice it's blunt but when it comes back sharp it'll transform the machine!

 

Thanks Chris, i will try and find someone local to get mine done, it's just that mine doesn't seem to be cutting as fast as it used to. Have you got any idea what it will cost to have done (it's the blade on my hakki eagle) which without going back up the yard i can't recall what size it is.:blushing:

Haydens saw services over at braintree seem to be a pretty decent bunch, I got a 700mm blade for my Japa 100, I bought the blade on the net for £120 and they bored it to 35mm for £5, so a huge saving over getting one from the dealers, looked like they sharpen just about any sort of sawblade judging by the various ones I saw being done whilst there.

After discussing with richard at haydens the price of the blade they said they would have matched the £120

I also have a load of bandsaw blades on order from them which they were reasonable on.

Cheers scraggs, i've just rang Haydens the blade is going in next week, only £20 to sharpen it, what a bargain:thumbup:
