Best small van for tree cutters?

i seem to get just shy of 60mpg out of my 05 1.5 turbo diesel kangoo,

small vans are going for peanuts at the auctions at the mo watched a few combo transits 07 plates for £3300 +vat

Returns 60+mpg on long runs best was 72mpg with a tail wind unladen.

Normally get 550miles per tank.

I would replace it with a new style kangoo maxi but I must first invest in a pickup for the business.

Everyone loves driving it and as Top gear said...

Its the frenchiest car out there!

I have the astra sport ,its great to drive 150bhp and gives about 45 mpg to its not the most roomy of vans but it only carrys my butt and a few saws and climbing kit

I've got a 53 plate corsa van and the thing is superb. and i've slept in the back of it.....with the misses!!

Im thinking about buying a small van, so this thread is giving me some ideas. But i like it to be able to tow a small trailer, sometimes full of logs, so i would be interested in the towing weights of your vans, and how capable they are. Was also wandering if you can fit AT tyres to them as well? Im Guessing small front wheel drive vans can get pretty far off road if you wanted
