Ive just employed a new lad to split logs for me as I am inundated with customers wanting split logs

Picking up lots of new orders and repeats are trying to order early before cold arrives!

Dead. Loads of people on gumtree advertising bulk bags of seasoned hardwood for £40 Startup log co near here doing 2.4m3 <20% m/c oak for £80!!! Nuts. Off to see if I can buy their entire stock

Quiet but not bothered as I recon we are in the lull between those getting organised early and those that will remember when the weather gets cold presuming it ever does as very warm at the moment.

same here very quiet there are alot of cheap logs being sold at the moment around here hopefully when they run out, or they start selling wet rubbish

but i suppose if you stick to your guns and sell at the price and quality you always have , then others will come and go. But it is hard to think that when when you see somebody else delivering in a house you have done even if they are awkward
