Maybe they'll kick of now, our yards frozen already tonight. :001_smile: did you get much timber gathered up from the storms?

I only got one job from the storms, a small half dead cherry that blew over in a regular clients garden. Although I still have about 80 tons of hardwood and 40 of softwood to process for next winters firewood, should keep us busy right through January.

Firewood sales have been very quiet for me this winter, I was flat out this time last year. I think its down to the very mild weather we have been having here in NI. Hopefully we'll get a cold January!

HI CHRIS it been very mild let hope for a very cold january thanks mate jon

Hi chris just been looking through a few of these can t understand why there is so much demand for cordwood when you all seem a bit quiet on the sales front.

Anyway I have been steadily going along at about 30 metres a week now since beginnig of August, hope it does nt get too cold or snow before xmas or I won t be able to keep up.

Seasons greetings to you all out there and have a prosperous new year.Big Chris.

If anyone has dry logs round Andover, Hamshire let me know because we have packed up although I am surprised how few calls we have had. I will pass your phone numbers on.

We are doing around 30 cubic metres a week and between April and August this year we sold double that of previous years, problem is we have sold more than expected and although we have about 300 ton to go at the dry stuff is running out and it's all we can do to keep up so impossible to put any in stock to dry !!
