not the sort of relationship that is likely to turn sour. his words not mine to stick an advert out in the paper, all our work is with local council so me looking for domestic stuff isnt going to create any conflict of interest.

 

Go for it then, opportunities like that don't come along too often.

 

You will need employers liability insurance, public liability is up to you, but it is a selling point.

If what your saying is true then go for it, if your boss doesn't want the private work and you pay for and treat his gear with respect, i can't see anything wrong with you trying to better yourself.

The odd cash job is fair enough.Your boss must be a decent bloke to lend you HIS kit,but getting insurance and competing for work with HIS equipment is taking the p**s imo.:wtf:

 

Maybe his last boss done the same for him and now he's so busy he wants to unload some work on someone he thinks deserves it happened to me:)
