Moonlight shadow was originally recorded by Mike Oldfield.

Mike Oldfield's debut album `Tubular Bells' was the first release from Virgin Records.

It was Virgin that signed the sex Pistols when they were sacked by A&M records for being too chaotic.

The singer in the sex pistols was Jon Lydon AKA Johnny Rotten. He left the Pistols in Jan 78 and formed Public Image Limited (PIL) Their debut single Public image went top 10.

Any connection is cool - (2 records from 1978 seems a tad tenuous though). And if you've just joined in, who cares if its been posted before!
