I say fell, as it doesnt fit its surroundings, ie looks wrong.:001_smile:

 

I dont think we take in to consideration if trees look good in the right location.

 

After all, it is the 21st century and its ALL about looks.

Sorry....pics were taken end of Feb. The tree is now in full viggor and the client wants it down, I just need to alk the LA into it!

That's your job spec' then. If that's what your client wants and they weren't asking for general advice, if you don't take it down someone else will.

 

You can try and persuade them to leave the tree as a high stump or mono' even, or have a log pile in the corner for the bugs n' beasties etc.

i'd take the whole thing down as asked and replant a small specimen keeping most/all the logs as a habitat pile rather than a monolith as it seems to be a small garden overlooked by many

If its in a CA tell the LA your felling it.
