What a bloomin good idea! Just out of interest and as i do not own one of them chiminea things myself, what size approx are the logs you are selling?

I have a whole stack of small stuff sat here that i could do with shifting.

Cheers

what price would you put on good seasoned logs that would fill 2/3s of a council recycling box? I've sold a few :) I reckon I'm under charging at a fiver a box full, but its my 15 year old cousin, so meh

i sell small oak logs which are used in pizzaria oven type things, not in great amounts, only 2 customers have ever asked for them!! i dont advertise them, extra work in chopping so small!!! still havent been invited back for a proper stone cooked pizza either!!!!!!!!

I am charging £5 for a 15kg dog food bag of very dry softwood. Also £5 for kindling and 3.00 for scented starter sticks ( from La Hacienda). Only selling it in store at present.

We haven't really got into logs- mainly nearly giving them away as arb arisings.

This thread got me thinking mainly about how you get best bucks from getting your market right

Try and sell a bag of logs at a boot fair for £5 and I don't think you'd have many takers.

Sell the same bag at Dobbies Garden World and they would fly.

Maybe I should look more seriously at marketing to maximise returns:thumbup1:
