Whats your big saw?

Is it me or are Husqvarna saws beginning to regain popularity? I know I'm a fan of their design and handling.

 

I work for a firm near Lowestoft and usually use thier saws but for weekend work etc. i've got a Husky 335XPT and an old 268XP - both beautifully designed saws.

 

What Top handles do people prefer?

066 36" Brilliant saw.

Could do with buying a ms880 though.

 

Top handle can only be the ms200t.

old o66 with 24inch bar for usual stuff and 30 and 36 inch bars if required.

460 with a 28". The amount of times I need to cut a tree that big it does well enough to not have a 660 sitting around.

husk make gr8 pro saws stihl make gr8 top handel saws

 

but stihl i believe are making their saws fail early ie rubbish 200t carbs goes after 1-2 years £60-70 for a new one.

cat amongst the pigeons time...but makita 7901 with a 28in bar,great for felling and brilliant to climb with

You don't need new carbs, just new diaphrams! I just learnt that. £56.00 to get two dead saws up and running again!

i like em all!

 

i personally own an 088, feels slightly better in my hands than the 3120, if i wanted to run 5ft bars i'd opt for the 3120 for the oil pump alone.

 

if i had to buy again i would probably settle for one of the 90cc saws.....have used the 395 extensively compared to the 660, again both are great saws.....

 

i think the whole husky vs stihl arguement is pretty weak really, thats my personal thoughts anyway.
