Safety glasses for strimming

Can anyone suggest a good comfortable set of safety glasses/goggles for strimming? It seems no matter what I wear I manage to get something to shoot right into the corner of my eye to ruin my day.

Stihl ones are good. Put toothpaste on them, then wipe it off with kitchen roll to stop them steaming up :001_smile:

Or Neat Fairy Liquid and wipe it off. We would recommend using both mesh visor and glasses. Currently using Sperian Op-tema Blue Temples clear lense from Arco - about £4 a pair. I find the most important thing is to have a good soft glass case with them as its rarely in use they get scratched but in storage sitting in the vans.

You don't want goggles, they steam up. And a helmet and visor for strimming? All we use is safety specs, no need for visors or guards on the strimmers. Much quicker that way.

Good, close fitting specs than don't pinch your temple when worn with ear defenders are the Sperian range (Screwfix is a good place to get hold of them) or Oregon.

As Gareth says, get a case for them.
