Going over to the dark side

357's a funny one, I'd happily pick one up to cut the same trees I'd take my 372 to, yet it feels not that much bigger than a 346. But that said, I'd not put a bar bigger than 20" onto the 372, anything bigger and I'd be reaching for 90cc plus

The 357 does feel a bit bigger than a 346 but its much lighter and more nible than a 372. If you get the chance to try a 24" on a 576 do it works very well a little nose heavy but cuts so well.

I run 357's(15"), new 346(15") and an old 365 special(20"). I'm going to try an 8 rim on the 346, for all the smaller stuff coming up. All that said I'll still reach for the old 066 on 30" for the big oak, beech etc.

As for keeping the 200t, you won't regret it, I tried the old husky top handle and it was either disappointing or not working.

Is there a 5 series replacement for the 357 yet?

I have a 372 and a 3120 husky love them both also have a couple of ms440s (prefer the 372) a 660 and obviously kept with stihl on the top handled:) as said I think the 390 and 395 equivalent to 660 they are nice but don't see any reason to change as the 660 is a beauty mate.
